Australia’s beloved author, passionate sustainability expert and honorary wombat shares her zero waste journey.

Jackie French AM is an author, ecologist, historian, honorary wombat (part time), Senior Australian of the Year 2015, Australian Children's Laureate 2014-2015, an ex-echidna milker, and many other things.  

Jackie will share her zero waste journey and reflections on the way lives have changed in the past 50 years. She will also talk with us about the practical ways she reduces waste in her home and garden. Be inspired to look at your own life, from clothes to holidays, to see if any are ‘escapes’ from the reality of connection between being human and our environment.
