Zero Waste Festival 2021

The Zero Waste Festival is back for 2021!
...and we want to know what you want to see!

Hello to Canberra's Zero Waste community, and welcome to our first newsletter of the year! Whether you've been involved with Zero Waste Revolution in the past or you've just found out about us, we're excited to have you here.

We're very chuffed to announce that we will be holding the third annual Zero Waste Festival in Canberra in late Winter/early Spring this year. The aim of the festival is to inspire and educate ourselves and our community to reduce our collective waste. We know our current waste management systems aren't working, and we believe there is a better future out there, with innovative solutions at every level; from the home, to business, to government.

At our past two festivals we've covered a huge range of topics like sustainable fashion, zero waste innovation, going plastic free, reducing food waste and sustainable period products. We want to know what you'd like to see at this year's festival. Was there a workshop or talk that you think should happen again? Did you notice an information gap that needs filling? Is there a waste issue that you haven't quite been able to wrap your head around yet? Let us know by clicking the button below.

Tell us what you think!

In the meantime, check out this recording of 'My Zero Waste Journey' from last year's virtual festival.

The fantastic panel discussion features beloved author Jackie French, Serina Bird (The Joyful Frugalista), and Josie Grenfell (Little Waste Co.), and is facilitated by Greens MLA Jo Clay.
